Roger was born in Jonesboro, Louisiana and shortly after that his family moved to theMonroe Louisiana area.  He has been a resident of Monroe since that time. 

His father, Harold Crawley, started Acme Cleaners in 1951. This business was in their family for 50 years.  After his father retired, he and his brother ran this business.  He was manager of the carpet & upholstery cleaning division. The company also had a disaster restoration service, consisting of water and fire damage restoration. Roger achieved the distinction of Certified Restorer from the National Institute of Fire Restoration, being the 24th in the country and the only Certified Restorer in Louisiana for many years.  After his brother passed away, he sold the business and purchased Reciprocal Services, Inc.

Reciprocal Services Inc. was renamed The North Louisiana Trade Exchange, which he and his wife currently own and manage.  The North Louisiana Trade Exchange is a barter & trade group consisting of many business that barter or trade what they have for what they want.  It is businesses trading with each other.

Roger has been a Hunter Education Instructor for the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries for over 26 years.  During his volunteer service with the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, he has been awarded the Instructor of the Year for this district 5 times.  He was also selected to receive the Todd Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010.  This is given to one instructor in the state for their contribution to Hunter Education. 

Roger is also a Realtree Land Pro, Louisiana State Police Certified Concealed Carry Instructor, a NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, a NRA Benefactor Member, a NRA Recruiter, a United States Concealed Carry Association Affiliate Instructor and a Second Call Defense recruiter.
